Our comfortable, well-equipped Lodge is in the small holding of Woodhall located in the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, one mile from the Monmouthshire village of Trellech.

The Lodge is a stone built stable block which has been lovingly converted to a luxury cottage with one double bedroom and en suite bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and comfortable sitting room with a log burner. The building is extremely well insulated, and the heating is provided by electric convector radiators.

The bedroom has a king size bed, chest of drawers, bedside drawers, and ample hanging space. The bathroom has a large shower, large washstand basin, lavatory, and heated towel rail. Hot water is always available, and a hair dryer is provided.

The well-equipped kitchen has an induction hob with cooker hood, electric oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer, under counter fridge with ice box and a microwave. A Welcome Pack of local produce is provided upon arrival.

The sitting room has a comfortable double sofa and gentleman's armchair with side tables, magazine rack and plenty of storage space.

Other amenities include Wi-Fi, flat screen TVs in the sitting room and bedroom. A Book Exchange for avid readers and a selection of board games to while away the time. Information on local walks, activities, and places of interest is available.

Guests access the property via the main drive and park adjacent to the Lodge, which is self-contained and private. You will be provided with your own key and are free to come and go at any time of day. We will be there to welcome you when you arrive and are on hand to answer any questions you have during your stay.

Whilst we are very happy for you to bring one well behaved dog, we ask you to be aware that we have a West Highland terrier who is very friendly and roams the grounds. We also have sheep in an enclosed adjacent field. We ask guests to respect the Lodge as they would their own home and leave it clean and tidy upon departure. Any breakages must be notified before departure.

Smoking is not permitted in the Lodge or anywhere outside. The Lodge is not suitable for children and does not have dedicated disabled access.
